OUTDOOR FACILITIES - FOREST

In the corner of the yard is an area we call the forest. This area is kept natural looking with an ivy-arched entry way into a shaded area surrounded by trees and greenery. There are benches and tree stumps to sit on and watch the rabbits or the turtles. Between the two large animal enclosures is an area designated for the children to have direct contact with the bunnies so they can pet them or brush them. Toys and playing are not allowed in the forest because this is the outside quiet area where children can come to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet away from the busy play in the yard. This is a very popular part of our outdoor experience.
