Alma Elgin-Bödy - Substitute Helper

Alma is our primary back-up helper and is presently completing her senior year of high school. She has been helping at SCC since she was 14 years old. Alma has already completed 3 early childhood education units at Mira Costa College and is interested in working with children in the future.

Alma has led and assisted with several plays our children have presented to their parents and Alma has been in 27 musicals herself through various theatre groups. She would someday like to have her own children's musical theatre group.

In addition, Alma has completed 4 years of American Sign Language at Canyon Crest Academy and has led sign language classes with our children when the regular sign language teacher was unavailable.

Alma has a current certification in CPR and First Aid, and she hopes to major in Musical Theatre and Child Development at UC Fullerton next year.
