Ana Maria Nava-Colin - Child Care Provider

Ana Maria joined our community in March of 2005. She moved to the United States from Mexico in 1999 when she got married. After arriving in the U.S., Ana Maria worked as a translator until her son, David, was born in 2001. Ana Maria uses her bi-lingual capabilities each week as she leads the children in singing and speaking in our Spanish class. Ana Maria also frequently speaks to the children in Spanish throughout the day.

Ana Maria has a Bachelors Degree in Computers Systems Administration from Centro de Educacion Prefecinoal in Mexico. She used her computer education while working for Immigration National Institute in Mexico City and while running her own business as a computer software instructor.

Ana Maria became an American citizen in 2004 and, as with all the staff, Ana Maria is current in her CPR and First Aid certification.
