Jamie Holtkamp - Teacher

Jamie joined our community in October of 2007, bringing with her over 36 units in child development and 8 years of experience as a childcare professional. Jamie has worked for the Solana Beach Child Development Center and the YMCA Childcare Center. In addition, Jamie worked with children with special needs in the Encinitas School District as an Instructional Assistant for Specialized Care. Jamie also has experience running her own family childcare when her children were young.

Jamie loves children and especially enjoys helping the children create interesting craft projects. She is also experienced in the Handwriting Without Tears Program of teaching children how to write. Jamie is currently getting her CPR and First Aid certification.

Jamie and her husband Chris both grew up in the southern California area and they love to watch their children, Austin and Haley, participate in sports activities.
