OUTDOOR FACILITIES - GARDENS
We also have a side yard that is our garden area. In the garden we plant and care for flowers and crops. The children crush egg shells and scatter them in the flower beds to keep the snails away and to learn about natural ways to protect our garden from insects and bugs. When it is time to harvest our goodies, we have a gathering place with chairs where we can all sit together and eat. Our crops usually include sugar snap peas, carrots, strawberries, and guava. The garden area also supports other outdoor activities such as painting, carpentry, recycling, and caring for and maintaining our worm farm.
