Philosophy Statement

Many studies show that a child’s first five years set the foundation for the rest of their life. Knowing the tremendous impact these years have on an individual, our efforts are dedicated to create a place where those first years can be a positive and beneficial experience for each and every child in our care.

With our low child to teacher ratio, teacher’s are able to give one-on-one attention when needed.

With our low child to teacher ratio, teacher’s are able to give one-on-one attention when needed.

Family childcare was chosen to fulfill this purpose because the small, intimate environment lends itself best to accomplishing this goal. We maintain a low child to teacher ratio, so we can truly get to know each child and provide an individualized program. This also allows us to give children one-on-one attention when they need it.

We work to create an atmosphere where each child knows they are loved and will be treated fairly and with respect even when their outer behavior may need to be redirected. We believe that the culture a child lives in becomes the teacher of the child and therefore we encourage older children to help younger children and to be aware of the impact their actions have on younger children watching them.

Older children are encouraged to help younger children when possible.

Older children are encouraged to help younger children when possible.

Since the most powerful way to teach a child is by example, we not only encourage positive virtues in the children but we also try to exhibit them ourselves. An important part of a child’s life is their family, therefore we strive to creating strong and positive relationships with the families as well as with the children.

Knowing the tremendous impact the early years have on a child, it is our goal to provide a supportive environment where we work together with the parents to make each child’s first five years a positive and beneficial experience that will create a solid foundation for the rest of their life.
